Please do not patronize this coffee shop especially if you are a person of color. I must say that I have witnessed the owners treating many white customers, disrespectfully as well. Against my better judgement, I have frequented this shop a number of times in the past and I usually leave there with an uncomfortable feeling. I wanted to believe this was merely due to the negative energy the owners give off. I was mistaken. The owners, who are husband and wife, are racists. It pains me to say this, as I have always given them the benefit of the doubt in the past. On this particular morning, I was sitting at an outside table anticipating the day I was going to spend in the city to celebrate my birthday with a couple of my friends. My day could not have gotten off to a more disappointing start. I was waiting to order when the female owner, who like me, is a person of color, walked up to me and asked me to leave the premises. Rather than asking me if I planned to order anything, she just asked me to leave. She said the tables were for customers. I believe she targeted me, a young man color, and she just did not want me there. I was at a loss for words, embarrassed and uncomfortable

I have sent my friend in to get my drinks a few times due to the lack of parking. I've gone in once myself and I can't even begin to tell you how incredibly rude the owner is. She is snarky with customers. She is very condescending and passive aggressive when speaking to her staff as well. Do you not want the business? The coffee is okay. I went in the past out of convenience. It's nothing out of this world and the anything-but-warm welcome has led me to go elsewhere. You lost my business! Also, how do you expect your employees to function in that heat?? It's inhumane! No wonder some of them look so miserable to be there! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. Go elsewhere for coffee and positive vibes because this place is NOT it!!

Not a safe space for women of color. This morning I was accosted by an older white women as she pushed grabbed and dragged me while screaming you’re in a rush. She grabbed me so hard her nails dug in and scratch me. I didn’t touch her because I was scared it would look like I provoked her attack. She only stopped when I told her what time my train came. The owner watched all of this happen, said nothing, glared at me, and was very condescending. In a crowded shop I felt unsafe as no one checked in with me but she made sure to check in on the woman that accosted me with kindness and concern while I received the opposite. The owner of the shop is also a women of color so to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I loved supporting her shop because I love seeing women of color thrive. She will not continue to do that anymore and I share this so other women of color know it’s not a safe space.

Used to be one of the best cafΓ©s in Westchester for espresso drinks (hot or cold), but the coffee quality has declined over the past few months β€” now tastes overly acidic and over-roasted. Scones are still great. Service used to stand out, especially the tall barista who always got orders right β€” miss his service. Ambiance remains unique with its Metro-North-style wooden seating. Hoping the coffee improves. And new staff gets better on the requests.

So cute! I had a turmeric ginger hot latte and chocolate croissant while I waited for my train on a cold day. Plenty of seats. Great service very friendly staff even delivered my drink to me when ready. $11.
